Akash Chaurasia gave Training for multilayer Farming, farmers' income will increase by cultivating 5 crops simultaneously

A young man wanted to become a doctor and treat people, but when he realized that most people were getting sick due to food, he changed his decision. He did not become a doctor of the people but became a doctor of crops.

Akash Chaurasia (28), a resident of Rajeev Nagar Tili Sagar, six kilometers from the railway station in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district, he told that  "It was my childhood dream to become a doctor and treat people, but as As I grew up, I understood that most of the diseases are due to bad food and drink.

Wanted to know the reason for this, it came to know that people are not getting to eat pure grains and vegetables, due to which they are getting sick. Nowadays farmers use so many pesticides and chemical fertilizers in vegetables and grains that people get all kinds of diseases from it. I thought that it is better to do farming and provide them pure food than to treat them as a doctor, so that they do not fall ill and there is no chance of treatment.

With this thinking, in the year 2011, Akash started doing organic farming with 10 decimals. Today Akash is doing 18 thousand acres of organic farming with the help of 6.5 thousand farmers and 250 youths across the country. Akash is a good trainer, and his model forming is discussed everywhere. He has received eight national awards for his outstanding contribution in the field of agriculture.

What is Multilayer Farming

The nature of multilayer farming would be similar to that of a multi-storey house built on the same land in cities. In multilayer farming, a farmer can easily cultivate 4 to 5 crops simultaneously in the same field.

In this, turmeric or ginger is cultivated in the first layer inside a crop ground.

In the second layer, greens are grown on the ground. For example, any vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, vegetables.

Shady and fruit trees can also be planted in the third layer. like papaya

Apart from this, with the help of bamboo or tent on the beds of the beds, vine-class vegetables like bitter gourd, kundru can be cultivated

More profit for less cost

Akash has developed his three-acre farm as a model farm. By taking four to five crops simultaneously, the cost has been reduced by four to five times, as well as the profit has also increased five times. They do all organic fertilizers, dairy farms, multilayer food forming from vermi compost on their own. On 27th, 28th of every month, many farmers from all over the country come here for free training. So far, more than 50 model forms have been made across the country. Akash has given training to 42 thousand farmers, in which 33 thousand farmers and seven and a half thousand youth are associated with them. Six and a half thousand farmers and 250 youths are cultivating in 18 thousand acres of land completely according to the methods of Akash.

Important tips for multilayer farming

Akash explains that drip irrigation system and vermicompost play an important role in multilayer farming.

Farming techniques taught to thousands of farmers in seven years

Akash said, "We do not believe in giving training only, but farmers do it themselves, it is our best effort, I think apart from training, if farmers go to the farmers' place and get them cultivated in the same way, then it will be more useful for them." " He further explains, "I try to find new ways of farming every day so that farmers can get maximum benefit, I have been doing farming for only seven years, but thousands of farmers and youth from all over the country, according to us. It is a matter of great happiness for me that they are doing farming with which they are producing pure grains.

Akash follows these methods

When Akash met the farmers, the farmers told about their problems. Akash did a long research to solve these problems, so that the problems of the farmers could be solved. Akash said, "I take four to five crops simultaneously on the same land, which saves both cost and time and makes good profits, because one crop keeps getting fertilizer from another crop, there is no weed in the crops. Yes, no insects.

worms do Prepare compost quickly by listening to music

By listening to organic fertilizers and music to the crop, they get good production. The earthworm manure which is ready in 60 days, after listening to music, it is ready in 45 days. If we talk about the crop, then 90 days crop is ready in 70 to 75 days. With the harvesting of the crop in 15 to 20 days, there is an increase in production up to 25 percent. Akash said, "Music should be heard for two hours in the morning and evening, it should not be played at night, classical music which has a melody, rhythm and no words, it can be played even in the afternoon."

Dr Jitendra Singh, an expert in organic farming of Saket Sanstha, said, “Listening to music makes a difference in the production of the crop, the frequencies of the music's tone affect the environment, so definitely it affects the crop too. Vedic farming is done by chanting in Kumari.

Water recharge happens in the farm

To ensure that the water of the farm is not wasted in the rainy season, a water recharge facility has been made in the field itself. The pit of 10/10 is dug with the lawn of the field, due to which all the water comes in this pit. With this, eight to 10 lakh liters of water and two trolleys of soil can be saved in one acre of farmland. In this way, farmers are saving crores of liters of water along with saving thousands of trolleys of soil.

Pesticides are also made at home

They prepare organic fertilizers by mixing chemical fertilizers with organic materials, so that the soil can get rich nutrients. To reduce the dependence of farmers on the market, farmers make all the fertilizers from fertilizers to pesticides at home. Akash is also working to preserve India's extinct species. They prepare greenhouse in an indigenous way so that the crop can be saved from natural calamity. Bamboo is planted at a distance of 6/6, dry grass is put on it so that the crop is not damaged.
